The famous artwork “In Loving Memory of Celia Cruz,” was created by the Cuban artist Oscar Pelegrin for the funeral service of Celia Cruz, the “Queen of Salsa,” held on Saturday, July 19, 2003, at the Freedom Tower building in downtown Miami, Florida.
